William Shakespeare's
Much Ado About Nothing
Benedick, Claudio and Don Pedro return from the wars and arrive at Leonato's house in Messina. There they meet with Leonato's family, which includes his daughter Hero, and his niece Beatrice, with whom Benedick has a heated rivalry. Claudio, newly honored and encouraged by Don Pedro, falls in love with Hero, and the two plan to marry.
Before the nuptials take place, however, Don John (Don Pedro's half-brother) tricks Claudio into believing that he has seen Hero being unfaithful, causing the confused soldier to publicly spurn her and call of their wedding. Meanwhile, Don Pedro and others plot to bring Benedick and Beatrice together, resulting in the pair hastily re-examining their feelings and the reasons of their rivalry.
Will Hero's innocence be proven? Will Claudio change his mind? Will Benedick and Beatrice fall in love? Find out how this comedy about misunderstandings, love and deception unravels at the end of the story…
