The Phantom Tollbooth

Our production of The Phantom Tollbooth was our very first time in the lovely Michann Theatre. By blending stunning video projections with the show, students and families were treated to a delightful visual experience, but perhaps even more impressive was the humor and quick word-play that these students brought to the stage. Kids - many of whom were very young and still working on reading skills - received a crash course in syntax and language, and the result was a show that was as funny as it was educational. From a word-salesman peddling a 'half-baked idea', to a Spelling Bee that can sting, but would rather spell anything, to the "Official Which" who decides "which words to use", this show kept the students and the audience on their toes and smiling ear-to-ear.
